Zenfone Zoom Design & Hardware
As for the specs the asus zenfone zoom is rocking a Intel Atom Quad core Z3590 (2.5 Ghz) processor. Under the hood there is a non removable Li-po 3000 mAh battery, 13 MP f/2.7 with 3x optical zoom and the secondary is a 5 MP f/2.0 along with a dual tone flash. It supports all major bands (GSM/HSPA/LTE) but unfortunately is only single sim (Micro). The display is a 5.5 inch 1080p with corning gorilla glass 4. The zoom runs on android 5.0 with 4 gigs of ram. The storage is not a problem as it comes in 32/64/128 variants and also has a memory card slot. The zenfone zoom also supports fast charging and is priced at 37,999 which we think is on higher side.

As for the design the zenfone zoom is definitely one of the premium looking smartphones from Asus. The leather back which makes the smartphone quite stunning as well as provides better grip. There are dedicated buttons for video aswell as capture which makes sense for a camera focused smartphone. The sides are covered with the aluminum band outside the zoom makes it feels solid and sturdy but also increases weight. The camera cut out on the back is definitely appealing to some but may be ugly for some. There is intel aswell as asus branding on the leather back.
Asus Zenfone zoom has better display than earlier zenfone series models, The colors are more accurate and the screen is easily visible in sunlight. The display is a 1080p 5.5 inch which you can get for half of its price but you are not buying this phone for its display.
Well the camera is what Zenfone Zoom is all about. Well you must be thinking it is a game changer, Well it isn’t and works probably like any other 13mp camera but it definitely has an edge when it comes to taking zoomed pictures. The pictures taken by zenfone zoom is decent but you can be amazed sometimes if you do a little bit of color grading in photoshop. In low light it works like a charm and take some great photos. Macro shots etc are pretty good but if you are buying this Smartphone just for it’s camera then we guess it’s not worth it. If Asus lowers it’s price a little bit, i guess then it must be a smart choice.

Well a smartphone with 4gb ram, quad core processor would definitely be a beast and that’s the case of the zenfone zoom. Heavy games can be played on it with no lag and clutter aswell in multitasking it performs excellent. The battery of this smartphone is something which i wish would be bigger. The smartphone can last a day only with light usage but asus has provided fast charging in this smartphone and it makes it even. Anyways the performance of this device is up to the mark.
Well i guess ASUS has a habit of filling the phone with bloatware and this smartphone is no different with other zenfone series model. The bloatware gets sometime annoying. Also, there are various battery modes which you can set according to your preference and the whole zen ui can be customized. The Asus Zenfone Zoom runs on Android 5.0.
Well at the price of 38k i wouldn’t recommend it to any one. Although, if you might wanna give this a try go ahead as it has some premium looks and amazing performance.
